The main premise behind drama therapy and other creative arts therapy is the idea of concretizing –when we reveal our inner world and shape it into a role or art outside of ourselves. Once our inner thoughts and feelings are out of our heads and our bodies, we then feel deeply relieved, witnessed and known, as well as creative and empowered. When you stand and witness your inner world outside of yourself you will gain a fresh perspective on your thoughts and feelings. You are able to see your challenges from a new angle and find new solutions. You will integrate your own material, only this time you will make choices about what you want to take back inside of yourself and what you want to leave out.
